Audio Book Summary

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Perricone Prescription comes a powerful new weapon in the fight for clear and healthy skin

Long recognized as a pioneer in reversing skin damage caused by aging, board certified dermatologist and #1 bestselling author Nicholas Perricone, M.D., now turns his scientific knowledge and experience toward acne. Although usually considered a teenage problem, in reality millions of people suffer from this inflammatory disease well into middle age.

The Acne Prescription delivers a complete program that incorporates Dr. Perricone’s trademark three-tiered approach—anti-inflammatory diet, targeted acne-fighting nutritional supplements, and breakthrough anti-inflammatory topical applications—that will help you clear your skin in a matter of days. And, Dr. Perricone will tell you what to do to treat the pitting and scarring that often affects adult acne sufferers.

For the first time ever, common medical myths regarding the treatment of acne are dispelled as Dr. Perricone delivers a revolutionary program that guarantees success—no matter your age, skin type, or gender!

I enjoyed listening to this audio book because it has value informations on foods that have high levels of sugar that can cause diseases. It was value information because I learned that over the counter medications for acne are not effective to teenagers not adults who suffer from acne.

Basically this book is one long infomercial for Dr. Perricone's suppliments and skin care line. It may work but I was very put off by the tenor of the book.

He has great dermatological knowledge, yet, his advice cannot be used by Vegans. It is a pitty that he didnt include so many wonderful foods that even Vegans can use to get balanced amount of proteins.
