This book is wonderful. I can't believe I haven't read it. Because I had seen the movie I wasn't expecting much. I wish they would do a TV Mini series in 3 parts of the trilogy!

good book hidden away

If you're bored and you need to fill in time well this might do but really not great and very dated.

For what it is, it's not bad. I probably won't listen to it again, but I did enjoy it. No regrets.

If one takes into account the decade in which the story was written, it is easier to not judge some of the statements made that are no longer acceptable such as comments about to main female character, the sappy love they have for each other, and descriptions of the some of the natives. Overall, I enjoyed listening. The narrator has read other stories and is easy to listen to,

This Author wrote so many grand yet simple adventures it is amazing. Another story well written and well narrated

Amazing book. Gave me a sense of gavity while listening...brings in the characters nicely...also displays the circumstances of the world at the time well

I would love to experience a world like this

I like most of Burrough’s books. This is a good one too
