Audio Book Summary

Perfect suspense from New York Times bestselling author Heather Graham! The second book in her New York Confidential series.

Someone is murdering beautiful young women in the New York area and displaying them in mausoleums and underground tombs. The FBI is handling the case, with Special Agent Craig Frasier as lead.

Kieran Finnegan, forensic psychologist and part owner of Finnegan's, her family's pub, is consulting on the case. Craig and Kieran are a couple who've worked together on more than one occasion. On this occasion, though, Craig fears for the safety of the woman he loves. Because the killer is too close. The body of a young model is found in a catacomb under a two-hundred-year-old church, now deconsecrated and turned into a nightclub. A church directly behind Finnegan's in lower Manhattan.

As more women are murdered, their bodies discovered in underground locations in New York, it's clear that the police and the FBI are dealing with a serial killer. Craig and Kieran are desperate to track down the murderer, a man obsessed with female perfection. Obsessed enough to want to 'preserve' that beauty by destroying the women who embody it…

contrary to the previous comments I think and know this was a very good book. I have listened to many audiobooks by Heather Graham and I thoroughly enjoyed. I have many of her books on mp3-disc. I highly recommend this Audiobook. Hope she continue this series as this one is a sequel to Flawless. The narrator I really enjoyed. I\'d like to see these critics narrate books and do the characters. I have listened to audiobooks since the 60\'s when back then they were known as talking book records for the blind. they were on 16 rpm records. I have always enjoyed Someone reading to me. of course I can read myself, but I get more out of it when someone reads to me. Great book, excellent narrator.

Tedious and just did not get me interested. I had to keep going back because I realized I wasn't listening anymore. Finally gave up.

I feel like I'm being overly critical. The book was ok, but a bit unrealistic. Also, there was a lot of time where a lot of nothing seemed to be happening. Also, in ways Iiked he narrator and in other ways she annoyed me. She did a good old man voice, but if for confusing because every old man sounded the same. I couldn't help but keep thinking that the the story took place in NYC, but nobody sounded like they were from New York.
