Audio Book Summary

“[Coelho’s] special talent seems to be his ability to speak to everyone at once. The kind of spirituality he espouses is to all comers. . . . His readers often say that they see their own lives in his own books.”
—New Yorker

From the bestselling author of The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho, comes an absorbing new novel that holds a mirror up to our culture’s obsession with fame, glamour, and celebrity.

Reviews

Not the best book by Paulo Cohelo, the story continues to suggest that there will be something better... But once you get to the end you are left feeling as though you wished you had never gotten sucked into this book. Leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.

The beginning was promising but went downhill as you went on. It became repetitive and it was hard to get sucked into the narrative as the author went off on tangents about the past or background info. In short, it continuously suggested a preview of something exciting to come along but falls short every time.
