All the feels

I went in expecting a smut-filled story and that's exactly what I got. The narrator did a great job. My issue is that these characters are distractingly Catholic, and halfway through I can't shake the feeling that they're all Republicans. For a book where one character is the President of the United States, continually referring to "The Party" feels like it's trying to hide their true beliefs. The heavy Catholicism and vague political affiliations being so central to the book really pulled me out of it and soured the experience.

A strange story, but entertaining enough.

Wasted time and money on this one. Hours of listening about sex acts, pain, dominance, and control. No real story, no plot, just porn like descriptions that go on and on and on.

Posting anonymously because I'm embarrassed I listened to it. I don't know why I thought a story would some how magically emerge from all of the porn, but I did. It had just enough of a story to make me think that I wanted to know how it ended, until I finished it and no... it really was all just porn for the sake of porn. On the other hand, the narrator did an excellent job with the voices and the narrative.

Predictable, disturbing and no real storyline and the writer took it too far.

I bought the next in series, because of the "dropped" ending. However, the book could have a wee bit more story line. It would make for adventure and lots of bdsm sex. But, this first book was overly loaded with sex. Could call it soft porn. I still gave 3 stars as it did keep me Interested. I.hope the second book has more story.

Pretty stupid in parts. Also cliche and annoying.
