Anne Lamont is hilarious. It is rare when you find an author whose voice is distinct. Her random comments and stories enhance the likely basic understanding of writing, publishing, and the overall crafting of storytelling. If I were a high school English teacher her book would be played all year long to remind students of the realities of writing, which are so entwined with the realities of life. I can only hope that my voice will be as clear in my memoir. If not, I might grab a set of plastic keys and try to open my front door with 'em. Likely, they wouldn't kick'n work, just like my memoir. Excellent job writing. The narrator was superb. Great team.
