Not a lot of fact and way too many blurred lines. Everyone jump on the band wagon. Well written.. just questionable facts

The author believes in the 12 step program and I believe that being powerless is choice and being deemed powerless keeps you in a victim role. Not a very motivating book.

Great book! When told that I was codependent I was quite offended. After listening to this book I realize I fit many of the characteristics. The book is very encouraging. I also bought a hard copy of the book. Thank you Melody Beattie for shining the light on this "disease".
