When looking into insights on personal growth in areas of a person's life, like creativity, the reader / listener is looking for a knowledgeable teacher to show the science behind the topic. The science will give then the tools, like strategies or equipment etc., to achieve the desired results. This book lacks in this endeavor. I felt like it was a book promotion for other books, that the author didn't understand that creativity is a "learned" behavior as he says it's a natural process, and most importantly it lacked resources to show his opinions. I did want to acknowledge the author does understand it takes strategies and list a few that might assist in creativity but one doesn't know for certain they will unless you just decide to leap with blind faith. Also his thoughts on embracing failure are spot on however he doesn't say or show why you should embrace it. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book.
