Audio Book Summary

Allison DuBois, inspiration for the hit TV show Medium, shares fascinating stories of encounters with the dead and adventures as a criminal profiler.

Her visions have helped solve crimes; her instincts have helped find missing people.

She can predict future events and read your mind.

When she was six years old, Allison's deceased great-grandfather came to her with a message for her mother: 'I am okay, I am still with you. Tell your mom there's no more pain.' Allison shared his comforting words with her mother and thus began a lifetime of creating connections between loved ones and those they have lost.

In this stunning book, Allison shares fascinating stories of her encounters with people who have passed and her adventures as a profiler for various law enforcement organizations. With wit and compassion, Allison shows us what it is like to live with these special gifts and talents and also tells about her struggle to live a normal life as a devoted wife and mother. She shows how learning to accept her own gifts has helped her accept the unique gifts of others and how her compelling desire to relieve the pain of others has helped to define her own life, a life committed to the search for ultimate truth.

I quite enjoyed the book. I\'m fussy about narration and I thought the narration was good. I found that it gave the book extra credibility since it is in the author\'s own voice.

Be prepared for the dull monotony of Allison DuBois' reading voice. Her voice is worth bearing to hear "We Are Their Heaven," but I'd recommend skipping this book.

Excellent. Read in conjunction with Dr Frankl's "Man's search for Meaning" and Sylvia Brown's (medium) "Contacting your spirit guide". An interesting and interweaving trilogy! Allison Dubois could be your next-door-neighbour she's so normal and yet so special! Her recounting of her life story enables one to sense how 'normal' her experiences are for her - whilst confirming that these may be developed by others who are open to experiences. Especially caring was her advice about how to verify psychic and medium istic ability in one's children - or not.

Great listen, keeps your attention. If you were not a believer before you will be after listening to this book. Makes me hope that the people who have passed before me are truly still present and part of my life, even if I can't see them.

I have a keen interest in one's psychic ablilities so I was fascinated to hear how someone knew that they had the "gift". I was touched by the author' s ability to remind the listener that she was first and foremost a wife and mother. I have listened to better books but this is a refreshing change to the heavy plots of most books. It was like riding along listening to a girlfriend talk.
