Audio Book Summary

The moment Chloe Girard walked into my life, she exposed secrets and emotions I always thought were best kept buried.

She wants to move on, to ignore the past. But I can't do that. Not when she still suffers, and not when the man who hurt her remains unscathed. So when I discover the perfect opportunity to make him pay for what he did to Chloe, I can't walk away, no matter the consequences.

But there's a fine line between justice and obsession. As I turn up old crimes and new lies, I know that I'm playing with fire-and risking the very foundations of our relationship.

My love for Chloe is absolute. I just hope it's enough to save us both.Contains mature themes.

I love this unique love story. Lots of humor. And the narration was wonderful.

This book is the best of the series. It is a type of thriller with a love story and lots of steamy scenes. The narrator is great. I just had a small hang-up on the many three-peat phrases.

If your into feel good thriller romances then its a decent story line. I liked the first and had to see the series through. However, the books are OVERLY repetitive, to the point of being annoyingly predictable. I think those moments could have been better used to reveal some details that were missing/completely left out. *spoiler alert don't read further if you haven't started* Like, why was the best friend drinking so much? It hinted at a bigger issue, but never ended up capitalizing on it. Also, we never figure out the brother's real killer, the whole ordeal was a little rushed, which made the ending a little less than appreciable. Honestly, it came off as a cheaper rip off of 50's shades, but was good back noise while I worked.
