Audio Book Summary

When Scott Alan gets a phone call that his brother was hurt on a logging job, he rushes to Brian's side, only to find that his injuries are minor-but not before he meets Hank Ballam, an adrenaline-seeking logger who's an outcast among his co-workers.

Hank is a study in contrast: he lives for the rush of climbing and cutting trees almost as much as he loves the peace he finds exploring the mountains he calls home. Scott's attraction to Hank is immediate and mind-blowing, and it's what Scott has always wanted: to know what it's like to love someone he can't live without.

Scott needs to know if Hank's true feelings will be a roar of passion or simply a quiet friendship, one that doesn't match Scott's devotion. But it may be too late... Scott simply can't help himself from falling hard for Hank.

My first Marchwell book. Audio or written butI love Charlie David so I bought it. WOW! what a great story the chemisty between these two was magic from the beginnig and never stopped. I found myself smiling throughout the story. I loved that Marchwell gave us logging lengo but didn't get too deep into it. so not to get to lost I also loved that we are kept holding on until the very end. I actually thought we were going to be left with a clify but it was ended just perfect! will be looking for more Marchwell books

I have really been getting into this genre and when balanced between the erotic and a good story can be very satisfying content. ‘Hot House’ and ‘The Return’ are better choices, although this one isn’t bad per se, just kind of lopsided on the erotic passages and light on basic story structure like conflict, for example, as to be a little redundant. The characters just did not form up as very 'real' people as they did in the other two examples, just sort of generic. This could have been a much better work with a rewrite and a better editor. Just my two cents. The narrator is consistently good.
