Audio Book Summary

Since the moment I was ripped from my mother's womb, I've been an outcast among my own kind. The Sidhe might possess magical Gifts, unbelievable wealth, and unfathomable power, but I don't want a thing to do with them. I ran away from their lands in the Highlands of Scotland when I was eleven years old, and I've never looked back. I don't need a clan. I've got my own family of highly skilled thieves who mean more to me than any Sidhe ever could.

Unfortunately for me, the playboy heir to the Moncrieffe Clan has something I desperately need. To get it back, I'm going to have to plunge myself back into that world, no matter what the consequences may be. I suppose it's just as well I have sense of humor. I think I'm going to need it.

Oh so my cup of tea. Great start to a series. I really like the characters and promptly downloaded the rest of the series. Really enjoyable. Couldn’t wait to see where this goes!

If I were reading this book I would have found it difficult because I would have no idea how to pronounce some of the words. It starts with a young girl being dumped on and even abused for something her father did which you are given hints about throughout the story. Then the story moves on to where our young girl is a beautiful young woman who finds out that she is more than she realises or wants to be and there are those who would rather she stayed gone. For good. Gòod story brought alive by an excellent narrative. I look forward to the next instalment.
