Very repetitive, very few tips. NOT FOR anyone that has a job!! Only useful for house wives and MAYBE house husbands but it's not a great book. She just really loves the sound of her own voice. It's not written for busy working women or men like me that may or may not have 5 children and a dog. If I could spend a full weekday doing laundry I would be very happy but I don't have 8hrs a day for laundry. Only the 2-3hrs when I get home from work and just the weekend. I do not recommended to read this book if you are looking for useful practical and straight forward (straight to the point) tips. Everythibg in this book could be summed up by saying: - Just do it (everyday for dishes and specific days for everything else) - schedule it in and limit the time you will take to do it - make it a habit - get help from family - keep it simple (even 5 mins of tidying up a day helps)

I am a little sad that this book is over :( I have been listening to the podcast for a few months now and this book was the icing on the cake. Both me and my husband work full time with a 4 year old, 2 dogs and a 5 bedroom house. My house has ALWAYS been a mess and I wanted to to something about it, but everything I tried either didn't work or didn't last. Yes not everything she says applies to me because she is a stay at home mom and I am not, however almost all of what she recommends HAS helped in my house. I have witnessed the proof first hand and can't wait to continue my deslobafication process. THANKS DANA!!

I really liked this book. I found it entertaining and very helpful even though I am older and my kids are grown. I disagree that it is for only stay at home Moms. I think it would have helped me even though I worked outside the home most of the years that my kids were growing up. Also I tend to hoard a little and she had some really good ideas about that and several other cleaning and organization tools. I enjoyed the book very much and would recommend it.

This book is not for the mildly disorganized. It will help you get your messy clutter filled home out of disaster status. I have been reading Dana's blog for about 5 years and a lot of what is in the book is on the blog. BUT this book breaks down daily and weekly habits, decluttering tips, and home management strategies all in one spot. I have been listening to the book while decluttering which keeps me focused
