Audio Book Summary

Andi Dorfman, the beloved finalist of season eighteen of The Bachelor who infamously rejected Juan Pablo and went on to star on season ten of The Bachelorette, dishes about what it’s like to live out a love story—and its collapse—in front of the cameras, offering hard-won advice for moving on after a break-up, public or not.

Andi talks candidly about what it’s like to be courted by twenty-five handsome, single men in this juicy, insider’s peek at dating—and breaking up—on national TV. She shares entertaining and heartfelt stories about her fellow Bachelor alums—many of whom are still close friends—comes clean about calling out Bachelor #18 Juan Pablo for bad behavior, and reflects on her personal challenges and uplifting experiences in love that she hopes will help you get through your own break-ups with grace and style!

It was ok. Good to get additional details after watching the show. I hope Andi finds her happy ending, but I’ll be interested to see who she ends up with.

I\'ve been a bachelor/ette fan since season one and like every season, I was enthralled with Andi\'s season. This book is a glorious insider into the \"happily ever after\" reality of her season. The diary style fashion of this book created a raw illusion of the events that preceded their breakup - events that are so raw that make you say to yourself \"you can\'t make this stuff up\". One final thought, Andi is absolutely hilarious in her narration.

I thought Andi did a great job narrating and loved her quirk. It was a great behind the scenes look (read rather). It was funny, sad and everything in between :) great job!

*This Review Contains Spoilers* I decided to read this after watching Bachelor in Paradise and it (the book) being referenced so much. The parts about the Bachelor and her relationships with other men was okay and as an avid Bachelor fan, enjoyed. However, I also felt there were a couple other things going on: 1. It sounded like Andi was trying to be the next Carrie Bradshaw but it came across as less classy and quite shallow. 2. This was CLEARLY a relationship of domestic violence and it is obvious that Andi hasn\'t truly dealt with the impact of that relationship (and to her credit, it\'s pretty difficult to do quickly), to that end she blames herself for things that weren\'t hers to blame, justifies his behavior at times because of something she did and if this is what she\'s willing to share with the public, there is obviously much more that hasn\'t been told (not that she needs to at all!) Not only do I think the story was too raw and too soon to publish, it feels like Andi needs to (rightfully) seek help before she speaks of her relationship and the topic of toxic relationships again. 3. Most of the relationship advice/break up advice was terrible and, if listened to, encourages vanity and shallowness. This is not saying that these two characteristics define the author, but it comes across this way in the book. I would recommend this book to people if they are looking for some insider-Bachelor stories OR if they know someone involved with #26 (so they can be warned!).
