Audio Book Summary

There were three things I didn't know when I moved into the all-girls, non-sorority house Blossom Field Avenue #246:

1) The house opposite ours, #247, is home to the gorgeous jerks of the Iota Fraternity.

2) Lucian Spencer Anderson lives in #247 and is possibly the hottest stripper-slash-social-science student you'll ever meet.

3) #246 (The Blossoms) and #247 (The Dudes) have the longest standing, most ruthless prank war in the history of rivalries.

The only thing the two houses agree on is that they live and breathe for the next battle. But the real challenge is the one I never saw coming: an alliance with Lucian. When a cold winter threatens the stray cats of Deepsilver, our mutual love for animals forces us to team up. Bad, right? Well, it gets worse: we're going to need the cooperation of our two houses to pull this thing off.

Didn't like the narrator's lead voice. I stopped listening.

I tried so hard and got to far at the end I just could keep hearing narration is key and it wasn’t good I alway try to give it an opportunity but I couldn’t.

I only read this book because I thought it would be funny and I was interested in seeing what kind of pranks the author would think of. While the author thought of some amazing and original pranks. Though I think the book itself suffered because it was about 95% all about the pranks and then the story. There wasn’t any real character buildup on either side of the street, so to speak. Let me just say that listing of character names and their majors is not a buildup. While there is chemistry between the main characters, it’s a wonder how because they never really had a real conversation until the end and even then, it was about clearing up rumors. The book wasn’t even funny. I think I will leave the series… right there.

This hilarious, quirky romance was so much fun! The love-hate relationship the Blossoms and Dudes have on campus lead to a prank war that has me laughing out loud, and even cringing a bit at times. But underneath all the craziness is a group of great characters, fun banter and a story with lots of heart. Sarah Puckett does a terrific job capturing each characters unconventional personality. Her voice changes were distinct and her intonations were spot on, bringing this lively and heartfelt story to life.
