“A masterpiece of thriller and mystery! The author did a magnificent job developing characters with a psychological side that is so well described that we feel inside their minds, follow their fears and cheer for their success. This is a very short story almost seems like it should be the first chapter of a book but it was a good enough story. However, the narrator was terrible in my opinion. If this was a movie she would be the worst over actor ever. And why is a British actress narrating a story that took place in Atlanta?

Came across as a "teaser" for full novel about the main character. Served its purpose. Where is the follow up?

That accent was horrible for such a dark story. She sounded like a nanny reading to kids to scare them. I will read this one my own as the story is intriguing

I couldn’t get past the idea that she is speaking to a room of FBI recruits, and is quoting the infamous “”abyss” statement, and they all are shocked by it. The talk of a serial killer they don’t know?? Give me a break. Any first year psych student has heard that ... or ever watch a crime show on tv??? If they are THAT far into this career in law enforcement, they aren’t anything like they were described.
