Audio Book Summary

When Mary Lennox, who has been brought up in India in a spoiled manner, is orphaned she has to move to Yorkshire, England, to live with her uncle in Misselthwaite Manor. Here she is treated much differently than she was in India - she is able to make friends with children her own age, one of these being her sickly cousin, Colin Craven.

Love this story; a classic! Narration was mostly good but had its moments where the narrator was distracted and at one point I heard someone in the background yell to her that dinner was done. Lol but overall it was done well enough.

A nice book, very queer book. Though I am a boy I still like A Little Princess by Francis Hogson Bernet.

Enjoyable listen. The narration of so many free books is very bad. They miss any variation in tone and emotion. This one is better than most, odd at times that it sounds like she is reading it at a cafe.

I love the book. The narrator has a great voice. I still do not like the interruption between chapters.
