I read this book nearly 40 years ago and it had a profound effect on me then. I have been listening to this audiobook and it has had a greater effect on me today. especially when there are some pastors that are saying we need to get rid of the metaphor of the shepherd. The riches described here of our Lord Jesus Christ as our Shepherd are profound and much-needed for the Saints of today.
