Audio Book Summary

Katherine Nichols knew she’d had too many drinks, but they were only going a short distance. “There’s no traffic anyway,” Eve had pointed out. And they'd had such a great night out, the two of them. Even now, driving them home and knowing she shouldn’t, seemed almost mischievous. All part of the fun. Not anymore. If anyone ever found out about the accident, it would ruin Katherine’s life. It would destroy everything she's worked for. And then there's her daughter Abigail. What would happen to her? But no one has to know because Eve was there too, and she’s going to help make it all go away. Except Katherine is about to find out that this isn't the end of the nightmare... It's the beginning.

Great story. Kept me listening. Middle section a bit too long and cringe worthy.

I downloaded my first book on a VIP perk. This is now my 3rd book by this author and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Her surprising twists hook me in. Loved it and purchased another one of her books.

This book is completely predictable all the way through, and I'm not exactly really good at sussing stuff out. Figuring out the 'Sixth Sense' surprise before the actual reveal was one of the proudest moments of my life. The antagonist is, appropriately, a conniving, nasty little piece of work. Not one single redeeming quality, so nice work on that character. But I didn't find the protagonist all that likable, either. Narration fair - she did better than I would have. Really wouldn't recommend - A LOT of better similarly themed 'be careful who you go to lunch with' works out there.

This was a VIP book and I really enjoyed it. Great twists and keeps you at the edge of your seat. There were times it was infuriating, which was the point so kudos to the author for that! Narration was fine, a little too AI sounding in my opinion.

Chose this book after reading “Missing Molly” which was good & I enjoyed. This one was disappointing. Some sections went on too long & none of the characters were likeable, maybe that was the point but it made me not care about the outcome of the story. I almost gave up & it was a chore to finish. There were some surprising twists. The narrator was good particularly with Eve’s whiny voice. I will try another of Natalie Barelli’s books but not immediately.
