The narrator got off to a much better start in this book. After the cliffhanger at the end of book one I had high expectations for how the story would continue in book 2 and I wasn\'t disappointed. The story picks up from where book 1 finished and its an adrenaline rush from the off. Rose\'s life has quite literally gone to Hell. With the Demons Basillis and Razor both after her blood and determined to make her suffer their own particular forms of abuse, Rose is in a race against time if she\'s to survive and fulfil the prophesy. Can Brendan, Seth and Cassius find her in time ? With the help of a God maybe ! With an as yet unknown traitor in their midst, you can bet the drama, excitement and danger is far from over. This is a well thought out and well written story set in a dystopian world with an array of interesting and intriguing characters that makes for an exceptional read. I rarely re-read a book but this is one that I could again and again. This book doesn\'t end in a cliff hanger \'phew\' not sure I could cope with another ending like book 1 but it will leave you waiting eagerly for the next instalment.
