This is pretty bad. The story is great, regardless, but really after seeing the LOTR movies, I want to hear those actors read it. I guess maybe I'm spoiled.

it should be great if I was a child and wanted to listen to a story, but I want to listen to THE BOOK. couldn't finish it, too obnoxious.

This is pretty bad. The main narrator is fine, but the cast makes the other characters near unbearable. Most egregious this reading doesn’t follow the books (I noticed this almost immediately) and leaves a good amount of text out. Don’t waste your credit.

I don’t mind the narrator using different voices but this just hurts my head to listen to...

The story is fine. My only complaint is about Frodo and Sam's voices.

Very, very, very difficult to listen to. Confusing and not all that enjoyable. You would be better off to simply see the movie or read the book.

Bad. Don't waste your time. Better off actually reading the book or just seeing the movie. The narration is poor and hard to follow.
