I\'ve never thought that I\'d enjoy a book about gaming and gamers, and yet, I absolutely loved it! The female narrator is amazing.

I don't write many reviews but needed to comment that this book and the narration are exceptional. If you grew up with video games this will particularly appeal, but anyone who enjoys a story about love (in its many forms) and friendship will be equally captivated.

It was interesting at times but mostly aggravating and long

I wasn’t sure Bill Gates and I would enjoy the same kind of books and I wasn’t a gamer until last week! I’m glad I took a chance. A rich and intricate story. Thank you Sadie Sam Marks et al for being in my life for a couple of weeks. I will miss you.

An interesting, insightful and unique novel that kept me engaged throughout. Beautifully narrated. You don’t need to be a gamer to enjoy this novel (I’m not) because the art of creating engaging games is used to reflect on the journey of life.

You don't need to be a gamer to understand this book. You can connect with the main themes on many levels. It is an honest story. It does not dress up the harsh realities of life but still keeps open the most important thing of all - hope.
