Audio Book Summary

The ancient texts we call Greek Myths are our window into the distant past, a view of a world that existed not only in the mind of the poets, but also in the hearts of the humble natives of ancient Greece. Listen to the wonderful journeys and adventures of these ancient Greek Gods and heroes.

Not only is the information on mythology interesting but the narration is excellent! For me, no matter how good the text without good narration, I won’t listen. In this case you have both a good writer and excellent narration.

Enjoyed it but have read other more in depth mythology which explained the myths with much more background, despite this I still enjoyed listening and I give the narrator Michael Scott 4 stars for his enthusiasm and ability to bring you into the book.

I was disappointed in this book. I was wanting to learn more of the origin of Greek mythology. Instead I was just hearing tales of the myths.

Very brief overview. Many important characters, stories, and details omitted. No correlations or differentiations between Greek and Roman gods explained. Food summary of basics, however.
