Audio Book Summary

While the Pilgrims were struggling to survive in the New World, work began on one of the Seven Wonders of the World: the Taj Mahal, built by Moghul emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The fascinating story of its creation is vividly conveyed in this narrative history.

Nice book covered a long period of the Mughal history from Babur to Aurangazeb and thereafter. It was both a tragedy and an eye openor to know the grandeur of the court, missed opportunities of the Mughal kings and the succession practice. Nice narration and a well researched book.
