as the first audio book I have ever listened to, I was pleasantly surprised!

Absolutely love the narrator of this book. I have been a political and espionage audio book enthusiast for many years. Somehow, Nelson DeMille was not an author I was familiar with. I feel like I jumped in right in the middle of John Corey's career and will certainly go back to read the books preceding this one. I think I may like this character as much if not more than any character I've followed in recent years. He's funny, witty, sarcastic and bright.......DeMille is brilliant in his character development and definition of 'ambiance.' I felt like I had crawled inside this story...... I listen a lot while driving to and from business meetings. A beautiful distraction. I like Kate as well.....and Asad. I almost sympathize with him. Around and around we go......an eye for an eye that never seems to end....

Very good read. Love John Corey's wit. Can't wait to read next John Corey book.

Brilliant and the narrator makes me feel like I'm really listening to Corey. Great actor!

This is my favorite author and he did another fantastic job!
